Responsibility™ Grey Fleet Management

Responsibility™ assists companies who have employees who are required as part of their duties to undertake business journeys on behalf of the company, using their own vehicle (either because they have opted to take a cash allowance in lieu of a company car or are not entitled to a company car and therefore use their own personal vehicle).

Responsibility™ is a highly professional driver and vehicle management solution to the Duty of Care issues raised by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and summarised in their “Driving at Work” booklet. The booklet is a guide for employers outlining their responsibilities toward business drivers. The guide clearly states that you, the employer, have a clear requirement under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of all employees while at work.

Utilising a series of detailed workflow management processes, Responsibility™ is designed to manage the administrative tasks associated with ensuring the employee and their own vehicle are ‘fit for purpose’ under the HSE guidelines.
