Leasedrive offers blue chip clients the highest quality bespoke total vehicle management service available. Working in partnership with fleet managers, or delivering a complete outsourced service, Leasedrive provides a range of services including fleet management; contract hire; contract purchase; finance lease; hire purchase; personal contract purchase; plus sale and leaseback.
The bespoke fleet management service includes client policy advice; vehicle acquisition, maintenance management and disposal; captive leasing management; employee car ownership schemes; cross-border leasing; fuel management; mileage capture and reporting; roadside assistance; accident management; corporate social responsibility management; carbon neutral driving and business driver management.

Leasedrive Rental Management
Leasedrive Rental Management is one of the largest short-term vehicle rental management companies in the corporate market with access to over 228,000 vehicles from 1,200 locations in the UK, including airports.The company offers a simple and transparent pricing policy with no hidden surcharges. Rates are constant throughout the country and customers benefit from special all-inclusive pricing including free delivery and collection. For rentals of 28 days or more, it offers the Stopgap mid-term vehicle rental solution.
The History
Leasedrive was established in 1983 and Velo in 1988. The two companies merged at the start of 2007 to form one of the largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups in the UK. In 2008 Leasedrive Velo Group was involved in a senior management buy-out in a transaction valued at £80m backed by private equity house Lloyds Development Capital (LDC) and in 2011 the integration of Masterlease UK led to a return to the Leasedrive brand name.
Leasedrive is a member of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association and the Association of Car Fleet Operators. Commercial director Roddy Graham is also chairman for the Institute of Car Fleet Management and a member of the All Party Parliamentary Climate Change Group.
The People
Managing director David Bird, formerly chief financial officer at Leasedrive Velo, previously held the position of chief operating officer of Shell Auto Finance and ARVAL PHH. Commercial director is Roddy Graham, formerly managing director of Budget Rent a Car UK and sales director of Highway Vehicle Management. Paul Fleming is sales and marketing director, formerly chief executive officer of Alternatech Fuel Systems and chief executive of Europcar UK. Financial Director is David Foulds, former fleet & passenger services commercial director of May Gurney and commercial director of Manpower.
The board is supported by one of the most experienced senior management teams in the industry. The quality of people at the top is representative of those employed throughout Leasedrive.
The Leasedrive System
At the heart of Leasedrive is ALFA, an industry leading asset finance and management system. The system has been developed by CHP Consulting and provides a robust finance and billing platform, along with integrated workflow management capability. The ALFA system is complimented by a web-based front end, developed by epyx and providing integrated vehicle procurement, ordering, policy management, service, maintenance and repair, plus records management.
Detailed interactive management reporting is available for Leasedrive’s own systems and its strategic partners via Drive:Manager™. This provides fleet managers with a desktop tool to assist them in the running of their fleet and drivers with the ability to compare and order vehicles, progress orders and book routine services.
The online total fleet management Drive:Manager™ system is password protected and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is widely acknowledged as the industry leading system, developed with input from fleet professionals for use by professional people.
